RESOURCES

You'll find links below to supplies that Wanda recommends. Four things you absolutely need for this project: a design wall, fabric, trays and binder clips. We're excited to help you get started on your amazing work of Art!

MODULE 1: DESIGN WALL SUPPLIES

Cotton Flannel Sheet for a Design Wall (works well for a 7’ tall design wall. Fabric is just over 8’ before washing and a great price. Also works for two table top design walls.)

1.5” Foam Insulation Board Here is a link to see the board we’re suggesting for a full size wall that rests on the floor. This home improvement store delivers to the surrounding areas. This brand of insulation board is carried nationwide by most home improvement stores.

MODULE 2: FABRIC

Wanda created Colorwash fabric packs and die cut kits to simplify the project if desired. You can see the full detail in the Kit Shop. If you're working from your own fabric stash, the Swatch Packs make a good filler. The Mini Collage Quilt also has a scrap pack available.

MODULE 2: TRAYS - ORGANIZE

Wanda uses nesting disposable aluminum trays to sort and store her Colorwash squares...

She places the stacked trays in a clear plastic storage bin when not in use.

Note:  A super sturdy tray is not necessary because these will sit on a table beside the design wall, they are not to be held while designing.  Because they are lightweight, when stacked they don't create wrinkles in the fabrics.

Adjustable Height Fold-in-Half Table works well to hold trays near your design wall, or to hold a small tabletop design wall that can be tucked away when not needed.

MODULE 4: BINDER CLIPS - PREPARE TO SEW

Binder clips organize and eliminate confusion when preparing to sew your Colorwash.

You’ll need around (+20), Here are a couple different styles available:
